We were delighted as a school to support this year's anti-bullying week again. The emphasis was placed on the doing the little things and ensuring that we as a school community of Bro Dur consider kind words when going about our normal school day. We had a school assembly and a challenge was given for each pupil to create postcards featuring One Kind Word. It was emphasised that many kind gestures happen naturally and that saying a kind word didn’t have to cost a large amount and didn’t need to be excessive. Mrs Henry-Hughes and Year 7 created this murual below, and every pupil had the opportunity to note the kind words that they use every day. The mural is now the centrepiece on Haearn corridor.
