Pupils at Ysgol Gymraeg Ystalyfera have once again excelled in various sporting fields with a number of them representing Wales in their specialist sports. Morgan Morse is to be congratulated on being selected to the Under-20 Welsh Rugby squad; at only 17yrs old, this is a huge credit and we are proud of his success. Morgan is a very unassuming young man who will be a great ambassador for the school and the rugby team as they move through the championship. Two other pupils who have experienced national success are Llien Llewelyn and Kieran Evans. The two played Short Mat bowls for Wales at the end of January.
